Simultaneously, its high toughness effectively inhibits crack propagation and exhibits excellent energy absorption capacity under earthquakes or impact loads, significantly improving structural safety.

3. Enhanced Beauty: From Functional Material to Artistic Medium

The delicate texture and high fluidity of UHPC make it an ideal medium for expressing architectural aesthetics. Its surface can exhibit a smooth, stone-like texture, or it can be molded to create complex textures such as wood grain, fabric, and geometric reliefs. Colors can be flexibly mixed using mineral pigments, achieving integrated coloring of gray, white, black, and even various colors without the need for post-painting. More importantly, UHPC can be cast into forms that are difficult to achieve with traditional concrete, such as extremely thin curved surfaces, perforated grids, and cantilevered petals. Examples include the "concrete lace" sunshade in Marseille, France, and the UHPC irregular-shaped curtain wall in Shenzhen, China, both showcasing a perfect fusion of structure and art. This characteristic of being "moldy like clay, yet as solid as rock" allows architects to transform their boundless creativity into reality, making buildings not only shelters but also sculptures and poems within the city.

With a thinner cross-section, it bears greater loads; with stronger performance, it protects for longer; and with a more beautiful form, it tells a deeper story.
